Delete your account
This page explains how to delete your We Bloom app account and all of its data. Auf Deutsch: Konto löschen.
1) Delete your account in the app
This is the fastest route. It takes effect immediately and needs no email, phone call, or reply from us.
- Open We Bloom and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Account → Delete account, or open the menu and choose Delete account.
- Read what will be removed, then tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Your account and its data are erased as soon as the confirmation finishes, and you are signed out. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
2) Request deletion without the app
Your account stays as it is until you delete it, so you can install We Bloom again, sign in, and use the steps above.
If you cannot sign in at all, or would rather we do it for you, email support@we-bloom.app from the address on the account, so we can confirm the request is yours. We complete verified requests within 30 days, and usually within a few days.
3) What gets deleted
- Your profile, username, avatar, and bio
- Your goals, milestones, and goal history
- Your wishlist, dream wishes, and received gifts
- Your check-ins, moods, and reflections
- Your partner connection, invites, and the cheers you sent
- Your sign-in, so that email address can no longer be used to log in
- Your notification tokens, so the app stops reaching your devices
4) What your partner keeps
Your partner keeps their own goals and wishlist. Anything you shared stops being linked to you: shared goals become personal goals on their side, and they can invite someone new whenever they like.
5) How long it takes
Your account and data are removed from our live systems immediately. Routine operational backups are cycled out within 30 days, after which no copy remains. Where we are legally required to keep certain records, we keep only what the law requires and nothing more.
